That is what I am thinking too
Restoring to as supplied status
Mostly trying to work out what components were supplied when delivered
Appears to me by various photos seen that the Ford and Chev floor plates for the gun tractors are different .
Chevs seem to have the full width floor pan and the beetleback body just slid straight over it
The Ford ones however appear to be cut in around the centre section of the beetleback chassis(On mine checker plate has been welded in to these areas at moment)
My biggest dilema is that if restored to this floor pan configuration no seat would be able to be fitted and the vehicle would pretty much only be useable as a static display
A very boring and sad state for an old girl
Attached is a few pictures of Loyd's cab 12 in gympie showing floor pan and beetleback seats attached to body
