Default springs

hi shaun, I have a set here, you can have them but i would like to keep one outer and one inner rear spring for a spare. Before I can give them to you I would need to free them all off as they are all seized, then fit two pairs onto the 1940 carrier, as the carrier currently has two seized rear spring assemblies on which would not free off with the normal hammering with heat. I have been on the look out for some time for a hydraulic press to use in freeing these springs off. If you have the facilitys to do this at the museum then we can get it done, i also need a seized wheel pin pushing out, (like the one you had when you were here last time). let me know if you have a press to do the job otherwise i will ramp up my efforts in getting one off ebay. ideally a 'I' beam box frame would do the job as i have 30 ton jacks to use with it.

see you tuesday kev.
