..... not sure in what theatre of operations but I have seen pictures of cab 13 with a pick and shovel mounted vertical behind the driver's side.....somewhat similar to the mounts on the back of a HUP.

They may have been field modifications.....can't remember seeing anything in original factory pictures or service bulletins.
