Part of the photo has been published in Squadron/Signal's "Italian Truck-Mounted Artillery" by well-known Italian specialist
Nicola Pignato with the inscription :
"A front view of the
F15 with the Breda Model 39. Two ammunition boxes are placed near the spare tire, behind the driver's position. The commander is a sergeant. The weapon posed a danger to Allied aircraft below 2,000 meters (about 6,700 feet)."

The truck folowing the F15 is a captured
Morris CS8 15-cwt with an Italian Autocannone da 65/17 mounted onto the truck bed. The Italian Regio Esercito had some 30+ vehicles in service in 1942.
