Hi Ron,

The census number group allocation can be determined for QL contracts, but chassis numbers and census numbers do not run in order. If your friend has the brass plate on the chassis with post war Army number, then Deepcut museum may be able to find the Key Card showing original census number. I went through all this with my QL many years ago through Beverley museum.

If your friend would like to send his available numbers to me, I will see what info I have to hand.
