Other than a few very notable exceptions Washington, DC really doesn't get big snow storms, I grew in Washington, DC. I can not prove it but I believe big DC snow storms are limited to times Congress is not in session other wise the up draft of hot air prevents significant snow accumulations.

I Loved the photos of the CMP playing in the snow. You certainly have some beautiful scenery in your location. Now I know what you meant when you mentioned snow in your email. I am glad to be sitting in the sun today.
