Just imagine what the production line workers would have been listening to on the radio (sorry...Wireless) while that was going together.
Pity you're not closer to me, I have digital recordings of news broadcasts of WWII, including the first
full 48hrs of D Day reports. Interesting listening while working on a period military vehicle. Certainly puts one 'in the mood'.
