Yes they started out east Quebec drive two by two out West to a place just North of Victoria on Vancouver Island...yes IN BC to be scrapped...the salvage yard who got the contract will not let you have one even for cash! the driver will not let you look at them close ie get on the trauck to have a quick look. Nor will he actually tell you where they will end up. There was a long long thread about these earlier in the forum from when they were first sighted. the same company that hauls aluminum sheets for Coloumbia Remtec is hauling for the salvage yard. My nephew saw them fully kitted out last year arounf June and got pics. these are the last of the dregs probably the parts doners for the one's that ran before the demil. I felt the same when I saw them but that is politics. I am caught in the middle as I would like newer equipment and you can't get new without cleaning out the closet of the old. the bean counters see it as a bunch of numbers and they want to see an empty page to put new numbers on. I am hoping the new numbers mean some newer vehicles and not more American surplus cast off's.
What's done is done... got to move on...Ex MSE Op Casey
