Default Carrier Steering

Hi Willy - what should happen is when you turn the steering wheel a quarter of a turn it should warp the track allowing you to execute a shallow turn. By turning the steering wheel over half-way should enable you to execute a tight turn. If your brake shoes are properly adjusted the turn should happen. Have you tried adjusting the connecting rods? The other area to examine is the contact area between the cam plate and the two rollers on the cross shaft. There should be a minimum gap and this is adjusted by turning the eccentric nuts on each roller. However I think your problem is in the adjustment of the connecting rods.
