Is he someone you know?

Looking through his other items, I expected to see more repro items, but saw nothing else.

They look to be reasonably good copies of the switch plates. I am tempted to buy a set and get more made from them

Mine are made of a stamped design, so it should be simple to get a good result by using the different heights of the pressing (wording etc is lower) and gently removing the black from the high parts. I toyed around with this technique many months ago. The idea worked beautifully. It took a very light touch to do it without unwanted rubbing through.

Now I just need to actually do the set I will be installing on the dash. I should have done em when I cleaned & rebuilt the instrument panel. They will join the ranks of the 'ron' jobs
