Charlottenburger Chaussee
According to Google Maps, what had been called Charlottenburger Chaussee in 1945 is now StraBe 17 Juni. In 1953, the street was renamed Straße des 17. Juni, to commemorate the uprising of the East Berliner workers on 17 June 1953, when the Red Army and GDR Volkspolizei shot protesting workers.
The 21 July Parade consisted of British 7th Armoured Division and the Canadian Berlin Brigade. A much larger Allied parade was held in September.
