RCN WW2 Steel Cap Boxes
Has anyone ever run across a supply of these round black steel boxes? The Canadian ones had a brass name plate screwed to the front of the box, under the brass latch. The Royal Navy version had the brass name plate riveted to the top of the lid.
I have been trying to locate an RCN one for a friend without much success. I think they all became cookie tins after the war!
