Default I chose for safety on this matter

I belong to the purer of purists when it comes to originality. That´s why i chose to restore the wiringloom of my A30 instead of buying one with plastic wires. This way you actually see the original factory colour coded wires leading to the different accessoiries in the engine bay.
When it came to the mirrors of the C60 however, i decided to search for a safer option than the original shaving mirrors (i actually took the original items off!). I know that there is loads of space on Canuck roads, but overhere you have to be very, very carefull not to knock someone off his/her bycicle when taking a right turn !

I actually got these from a local farming machines dealer, ideal because it has convex glass, and the same type of ball swivel point, and bolts straight on to the original stems.
Hanno, I don´t know how far your experience with driving trucks goes, but i would advise to get proper mirrors! After all, we all fit clearly visible flashers too, don´t we?

Martin.
