I got really lucky then as I purchased RCD 1939-1945 and the Pictoral History direct from RCD's kitshop.

I notice the Pictoral History is no longer listed, but as I recall it was under $20. I picked up both the History and the Pictoral history for under $50 (shipping was as much as the price of one book). Both books are great, lots of good photos and info on Royal Canadian Dragoons.
