I have been there and was not impressed, There is no easy way to remove it, Start by spraying a lube around the base of the distributerand pray that after a few days of this with some pressure left to right it comes.

If it dont only othe way is to remove the oil pump and get some hard wood dowel and insert it up into the oil pump housing hole and start taping untill it comes loose, this was the only way i could do it also.

The engine that i did it to was rebuilt a year before but was put away for winter and thats all it took.

When you get it out coat the base of the Distributer with grease, you wont have a problem again.
