Hi Shane
Your truck has the roof hatch as fitted to Australian issue F60L cab 12s. It is extremely unlikely to have served anywhere other than Australia or perhaps New Guinea. Also the colour it was in when you got it is faded khaki, not portland stone - khaki fades to a very similar colour. The ones with Middle East service were a much smaller number of Chevrolet cab 12s which were issued there and brought back to Australia. If it didn't have a roof hatch that would be more likely to have had overseas service.
Also the Supply/Mech contract number on your data plateS/M OR C/D 2037 is for Australian delivery.

Anyway to find out A fellow from the Military Museum said the same thing and thought it was ex Middle East can anyone advise me if it did or not. Cheers Shane
