It may have been because they garnered the necessary information to properly list it, or that the guys in that department figured out another use for it. The research section, in some ways, is like a working museum. I recall seeing a 155 Long Tom still in service there as little as 5 years ago, an M37 cargo working away into the 90s at least, and a host of other obsolete equipment lined up for mine testing, in order to improve the capabilities of the current fleet.
