It is a work owned truck ie the Union Jack Collection. We will not be painting it any time soon, it has a blow over job recently done by the seller in the UK, they are well known for that ability but not much else.
There are loads of minor items to get fettled, straps here, rivets there, screw here etc etc.
In addition it has to be gone through from one end to the other for all fluids and filters which is standard for us and frankly who in their right mind would unload a vehicle and not do that?
Then a swap of tyres as we have new ones for it that came in the back.
After that it has to have a full provincial safety check prior to registration and an alignment done as i'm not putting new rubber on it and chewing them out with a duff toe in or out set up. That is foolish beyond belief.
It will come to Ottawa at some time, don't know when.
Are you sure it would fit in your garage?
The Tdi engine is very smooth and a great advance on the naturally aspirated diesel in the yellow 90 on hand.
Essentially it is an early Discovery chassis under a Defender body.
