Default 90mm AA gun

I visited the pretty little town of Bury, Quebec on Sunday. The Armoury was built in 1913, and after a century of parades, parties, socials and community service the town administration decided to sell it. Arguably not a bad idea when there are three or four other church basements and the Legion hall within spitting distance. In the grounds out back, which I remembered was huge, but in reality is only big enough for a short footracing track, sits the 90mm gun in question. That building has deep roots to my old unit, to the 7th/11th Hussars and to the earlier post-Confederation numbered battalions.

The new owner of the armoury did not buy the gun in the purchase. The town didn't sell that property. The Legion (Br 48) has claimed ownership of the gun and will eventually move it. They might be open to offers, or not.

The breechblock is present. Two of the three folding trails are missing. Several small screwed-on covers have been stolen. Any exposed wiring has been attacked. A little ID plate has a SN, but the number is scraped off. The seat arms are there and folded up. Under the moss and flaked paint, I read the fol four fines of stamping:

GUN 90mm M1 No. 5292 (there is a little A2 above the M1)
ORD DEPT U.S.A.
WVT ARSENAL 1943
2505 LBS INSP A.G.G.
