Shane,
Jeeps are not my field of expertise, however:
The Jeep shown at post #4 on this thread:
http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=21232
sold on Friday for $5200 according to Darrin Wright, (I thought it was $5500 but he was there..) plus 11%. This had been converted to Right Hand Drive and had a holden motor fitted, was rough but mostly there. These two conversions usually devalue a Jeep considerably (like 50%), the local jeep guys were expecting it to be about $2000 for this reason.
The one shown on this thread also looks to be reasonably complete (no back seat in sight), has not had the back cut out, still LH drive, can't see if the rims are combat or not (spare is), so I would not expect it to go for less than 8K. If they start it on the day of the sale it will lift the price considerably.
Long way to go and be dissapointed, shame about the lack of phone bidding, but usually you can leave a max bid with the agent. If only you knew someone closer who could bid for you......
Rich.
