Hi Alistair,
I had problems with these on a Carrier, but as I believe the Loyd has normal truck backplates, pressed steel and not cast like Carriers, then a trailer one will do as studs will not need to be as long as Carrier ones. It is all to do with the length of the studs which as cast in. Probably a standard Girling item. They were used on trailers up until recent times.
