Yes, you are correct the tool box is missing and the dog house may not be a fit! Perhaps the new owner may be able to swap it for the correct one. It is unfortunate that the original brass identification plate is also missing but at least the ownership does document the original serial number for the vehicle. A reproduction plate is certainly an option. Considering it has been around for 74 years it is amazing that it is so complete and in relatively decent shape. Most of the CMPs in northern Ontario were used in the logging and pulpwood industry and were severely abused. This one is an exception. I was told by a previous owner that it had been a on board a Canadian Naval vessel until the 1960s and used as a runabout when in port ( I can't confirm this). As a civilian vehicle it was just used for basic transportation in rural northern Ontario!
