I believe that any WW2 dated commonwealth shovel will fit. I have several types and they all fit due to the flexible design of the brackets.
The pick head is quite specific, as it was designed off the WW1 pick head as they had so many in the Army at that time. The section where the wooden handle goes must be small and the diameter/thickness quite shallow. Any normal/modern pick head may fit but you will have to alter the clamping bracket and it will interfere with the exhaust pipe.
All the correct pick heads that I have found have all had 1918 dates and makers initials/brands stamped into them.
