In retrospect, I guess my surprise is really due to the fact that most of these trailers still look "good". When the 5/4 trailers were starting to go, they truly looked clapped out which made the whole transaction seem plausible.

Talking MLVW; For what its worth, our MSVS fleet is a real disappointment. I am astonished how many times we've had to have ours recovered. They are rivalling the LSVW at this point. Problem is, because they are so big, the troops can bring "the kitchen sink", so when they do go down on the Trans Canada, it becomes a logistical disaster trying to figure out what to do with all the cargo so they can get towed to the maintenance contractor. Meanwhile, I watched a guy flash up an ML the other day that had been sitting untouched since last fall (its confined to the compound). To hell with bucket seats, radio, heat and air-conditioning. Slow and steady wins the race.

On the topic of Marc's trailer. I love it when people's surplus is nicer than their daily drivers I think that Geo Metro is ready for the big squeeze!
