Default Numbers on the driver's plate

Hi Darrell:

If you sand carefully the paint remaining in the stampings on that top edge will help highlite the numbers. You should be able to get the date of manufacture as well. When you refinish the carrier you will want to pick the old paint out of the stampings so that they are still ledgible. Could you also post the hull number I showed you on the left rear corner. I have seen a chart somewhere on the internet of serial numbers, CT numbers, hull numbers and mfr dates. It is useful to all of us to add to these registers as it helps members with partial data (usually because the data plates are gone and the driver's armour plate is cut away) to figure out thier missing info. I have collected the data from all of ours and the Cameron's (CHofO) carrier and will post them shortly.

Bruce/Geoff: Have you seen this register? Can you refresh my failing memory?

Cheers, Mike (Mk II)- Dad's a Mike as well!
