The M715 I really like. It is no Dodge M37 for sure but cool nonetheless.
The original motors are junk, they were from the beginning.
Lots of guys opt out for a motor change of whatever; guys are doing diesels, small blocks, big blocks you name it.
I will probably end up doing a Cummins 6BT swap eventually.
The Cummins 4BT is a little easier to fit but about twice the price to find.
A M724 will drive like a lumber wagon.
For everyday use, a M1008 makes a lot of sense. Maybe one day I'll end up with one of those as well.
