This is a non-profit 3 day festival where Elvis Tribute Artists compete to win the title at the Tweed Festival and receive a “pass” to the Ultimate Elvis Competition in Memphis in 2015. The winner from last year just won in Collingwood and will represent Tweed in Memphis next week .
Our festival weekends have themes and this year it is GI Blues which not only celebrates Elvis’ military service but that of all Canadian Service men and women. We are desperately looking for military vehicles to be present at our festival all weekend. We are looking for Jeeps or Military trucks to be parked next to the stage to compliment our theme and other military decorations.
Military personnel with ID get in free on the Friday night.
We have Security staff on duty 24 hours a day from Thursday, August 21, at 3:00 pm to Sunday Aug 24th at 3:00 pm. The Security Personnel remain onsite and perform walk-abouts of the Tweed Fairgrounds during this weekend.
