Default Chevrolet Tilt Windscreen

G'day Cliff,

I have done a rough drawing of my 1940 MCP Chevrolet - Holdens cab tilt windscreen. However, the Manage Attachments keeps bringing up an Upload Error. Could you please PM me you email and I will email you the file.

My apologies for the quality I had to revert to Microsoft Paint after the program I usually use is not on my current computer. Then Paint refused to start a text box so I had to print the page off, then write the dimensions by hand and then scan that copy. In the meantime the quality of the graphic has declined.

This description might help you to decipher my appalling handwriting

The two vertical rectangles at the top are the hinges. The hinge is 145 mm long/high by 30 mm wide. The central vertical frame is 25 mm wide and 390 high. The length of the windscreen the tapers down towards the outside corners and finishes at a height of 370 mm. The overall width of the windscreen is 1230 mm The four corners of the windscreen a rounded off.

I have attached some close detail photographs of different parts of the windscreen.

I will start the drawing of the tray later on today.

Let me know if you need any further clarification on anything

Kind Regards
Lionel
