I have to admit your pictures got in my head. My M151A2 is
hors de combat waiting for the gas tank to be re-recoated, and that was on my mind as I looked at your shots. But last night I actually had a dream about driving mine without the gas tank! I think I was channelling Gunner Mike's carrier boat gas tank-theme, because in my drowsiness the Jeep's fuel tank was a 500ml water bottle of gasoline with the pickup line poked in the top.
