The information that I have available to me indicates the following:
The standard GS box was the welded 2C1 type; this vehicle has the bolted 2J1 type of box, and "represents one of the more sophisticated adaptations of the 15 cwt body. Wireless equipment is the Cdn No 19 set. A 300 amp chorehorse was mounted on left running board of cab".
Further to the above, in Gregg's "Canada's Fighting Vehicles", p.54, is a picture of a Chev 15 cwt, Fitted for Wireless. The cover of the chorehorse is removed and one can see an antenna mast poking up from the cargo box area.
So, that's the reference material that I'm looking for...since it's highly unlikely that I'll ever obtain a Sigs Van in the same restored shape as the truck itself.
