Default Part two

Once removed, the headlight buckets were disassembled and the parts treated to cleaning by electrolysis. I found one was reusable but the other had turned into a colander! Another disappointment was the original reflectors and wiring had disappeared when the lights were replaced with 12v sealed beam types which have a plug in fitting. Fortunately though I had some spares, although they needed a lot of work!
Disassembly can be a bit discouraging when the screws holding the glass retaining ring have been burred over. This batch of images shows the spare ones before rebuilding.
