The other little gem in that movie, Tony, is some filming also done on the USS Macon, one of the U.S. Navy's two dirigible air craft carriers, shortly before it crashed.
Ahh. Mr. Roberts. Another good movie, though I do not know what ship it was filmed aboard.
Doubt either is on DVD these days but any movie rental place worth its salt should be able to get you a VHS copy.
