Anyone help me or have a lead to one of these plates??
These plates were apparently used in vehicles and the dovetail plate allowed the gun to be transferred to a standard Vickers MMG tripod.
The plate is between the tripod and the empty chute. The empty chute is the tube at the front under the jacket.
Anything relating to the AVF Mk. VI Vickers is a want.......water hose, feed block, cheek piece, lock parts etc.
The Mk. VI a bit of a rare bird.
