More goodies found today
Another trip to our favorite surplus yard today and I found some more items to fill my tool kit list.A BULLDOG shovel, rusty but I can take care of that! A few punches that fit the description in the tool kit list as 1/8'' x 1/2'' x 5'' long. One is A(crown)M 1941 and inscribed RCAF,one is ETF,one is Sheffield England and one is LAWSON & HEATON. The chisel also fits the tool kit description 3/4'' x 3/4'' x 6'' long. A few spare bulbs for my spare bulbs tin. A bundle of the wirecutter/machette lanyards that are listed in the parts manual as
*CO1Q 17056 and it just so happens that I need 3 for my wirecutters and a couple for my machettes. A nice fuel spout for my jeep tool kit. A 24'' bar for the nut spanners. Another WALKER 926 jack and a mess kit knife that was in with the issue spoons & forks.
On the way home I stopped at an antique store and found a 1944 dated jack No 18. I already had a No.16 jack that said MADE IN CANADA but no date.I also have a WALKER-266 jack rated for 6 tons but not sure that it is military or not. Can anyone confirm if it is military? And there were 2 engine crank handles there as well that I picked up just in case they were military.
And the search continues for the rest of the tools I am missing!
Regards,Derk
