So, this is the reason why Amateur Radio operators, like myself, can't punch through the horrible propagation layers which are so prevalent right now?
Seems like the E2 and E3 layers aren't bonding and the Fresnel shelf is non existent. Flaring sun spots don't help either.
Generally speaking, we're all getting a lot of mush on the 40, 60, 80m bands. Pretty well unworkable on vox, cw has moderately better success.
