As to David Fletcher, he is very approachable, only too happy to have a chat about tanks and stuff. His preference is Allied rather than Axis, understandable given the era he grew up in.
A pity he can't be contacted any more by email as in the past he was always a
good resource for a definitive I.d on obscure and rare parts.
