Yes Dave, unfortunately I'm fresh out of gold plate
but I did bolt the side plates on and the front housing. I also put the front shaft in to check its centre with the side curved parts and found a variation of a few mm. The shaft is very good and the speedo helical gears match really well and spins when the shaft turns with no play. That means that the wing parts I put on will need modification. I should have been more careful and triple checked critical parts before I weld them all together. I guess it couldn't all go to plan with out some form of mod
. It is not a big job to fix but I will bolt on what ever it takes to get it exact before I weld it back again.
