One note: the side by side cover is for AFV's as you say but the Mk.1 Carrier had the supply unit on top of the sender receiver. Like the same tan waterproof material as used in the British rain capes?
I know Frank Brown over here in UK at Pegasus Drive makes everything from web straps, canvas seats, screens etc, even hand made Dennison Smocks.
He was trying to source the material or get it reproduced for the capes.
