So your C60L was one of 1728 trucks ordered by the British Government and delivered to the United Kingdom (as in the geographic location). To which unit it was allocated is very hard to trace. So where it served during WW2 will probably remain a mystery, maybe unless you can find unit markings etc.
But as your truck was found in Norway, I think we can assume it was one of the vehicles taken by the British Army to Germany after WW2. The reasoning behind this is the following: the Independent Norwegian Brigade Group in Germany (
Tysklandsbrigaden) was part of the British occupying force after World War II. Tysklandsbrigaden was supplied by the British, including transport, and reportedly the Brigade took (at least) their trucks back to Norway when they left in 1953. I have been told practically all CMPs surviving in Norway came from that Brigade.
