An oddity though... normally these fittings are found on a 1908 Pattern, WW1 style waist belt, rather than the 1937 pattern WW2 style waist belt.

The pins normally remain attached to the radio set case.

Also found on the No5 PSU - back pack battery hand crank charger in similar case to the WS18.
