I need a drill round, too, and for some reason I never thought about a wooden one. If it's good enough for the army, it should be good enough for me. If there's any place I can find the dimensions, I should be able to make my own. Does anybody know where there might be a downloadable dimensioned drawing? Maybe it's an unrealistic hope, but it occurs to me that maybe part of the reason they were made of wood was so they could be made by a one-man cabinet-making shop rather than tying up expensive production facilities and materials. I do know a lot of small components were sourced this way, and drawings had to be supplied to the shops involved.
