Default 1938 Bell Tent

SOLD

1938 Canadian made bell tent. This bell tent was made by SS Holden from Ottawa-Hull, Canada. See the pictures for the excellent manufacturer stencil. It also has a very nice C broad arrow present. All canvas is intact and in excellent condition. All ropes and wooden toggles are present. Even the burlap skirting is fully intact. The metal hoops for the vents are all in place and not bent out of shape. Brass hooks and eyes for the door are all present and working. The interior vent flap is also present and functioning. The rope bundle at the top of the tent was completely taken apart and reformed by me. Previously it had been badly misshapen and falling apart. There are a few repairs done to the tent and this is expected with something this old. They have been pointed out in the pictures. They do not detract at all from it. The wooden two piece pole is included. It comes with a metal tube to connect the two poles together. A full set of metal tent pegs with a few extras also comes with the tent. You get 45 pegs. A canvas tent bag and some spare pieces of matching canvas come with the tent as well. This spare canvas was actually from another bell tent so the canvas matches as close as one can get.

. The tent is located near Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I am willing to drive about an hours drive to deliver or meet half way with the buyer to arrange pick up. The other option is that I will be attending the DDay event in Conneaut, Ohio this August. I can happily deliver to the event. All that I require from the buyer is a 50% deposit with the remainder on picking up from me. Send me msg if you are interested. Thanks.
