I talked to the seller about this one. It has been registered in BC but he does not have any registration documents for it and is not interested in doing a title search.
So in essence, to buy this truck is really buying an unknown persons vehicle from a third party. So if the unknown registered owner (who still owns the truck in the eyes of ICBC) does not play ball and sign it over to the new buyer, the truck will be uninsurable and the new buyer may lose possession of the truck to the original owner.
I would have looked at this truck in person by now if this was not the case.
