Hi Mike,
I agree with you there. Their was reference to Austins at the start of the article but I could find nothing within the article that mentioned them specifically. Maybe the writer was unaware that Morris and Austin were not associated with each other until c.1952 when the British Motor Corporation (BMC) was formed.

That being said, it is a little known fact that Austin Motor Co. actually built some of the WW2 Morris Commercial military vehicles. Austin must have had a larger manufacturing capacity than MCC I assume.
