Hi Wayne,
There is another of these Hillmans in NSW. I saw it some years ago and identified the contract number for the owner. It had reputedly belonged to a hospital for years and showed no sign of army use. According to the contact list from Rootes Group, the contract was asigned to Australia. Date of Intention to Purchase was 11th Oct. 1944, Date of Order was 13th Oct. 1944. As Mike has said, the contract was for 250 utilities.
