Australian and NZ Carriers used Canadian-made 95Hp 239ci 99A engines, very similar to the regular CMP engines. Some Australian assembled Ford CMPs, however used US-made 99TF engines, Maybe because the 99A blocks had been lifted from the CKD crates?? Gearboxes were also the regular Canadian 4 speed Truck gearboxes with externals like the shift lever and clutch lever adapted for the Carrier layout.

English carriers used 85Hp 221ci engines, but I believe these engines were already being made in England for prewar Ford and Fordson vehicles, and they feature Lucas electricals and Solex carbs, also sourced in England.
