Brian spotting Bill Spence's "Burma Buggy" back on the market prompted me to merge some of the postings into a separate thread.
It turns out
Bill wanted to build a C8AX first, then decided to build a replica of an
Indian Pattern HUP. I think he did a fine job, especially if you realise he had very little documentation to work from.
William "Bill" Spencer has since passed away, as did the second owner of this peculiar C8A. Here's hoping this truck finds a new good home.
