Okay, I'm being lazy and not going to grab the books. That said most of the Army Fords I have seen didn't have the turn signal and often the headlight sheetmetal punched out. They had military style lights placed on top of the fender.

you photographed indeed has no turn signals, but does have the regular headlights fitted.
