Description
Here is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Canadian Military and automotive history. It’s a 1940 Ford, number 11cab F8. It represents one of the earliest Production examples of a purely Canadian designed WW2 Canadian Military Truck. Canada produced vehicles for not only itself, but most British commonwealth countries. This is why it was produced in right hand drive...This example was produced by Ford Motor Company in Windsor Ontario. This was the smallest of the CMP designs. It’s 2 wheel drive, and has about a quarter ton capacity. It’s powered by the famous for flathead V8. The vehicle saw a full restoration approximately 10 to 15 yrs ago..it’s always been in dry indoor storage..it’s a beautiful, rare, Canadian truck..can be viewed near Kingston Ontario by appointment...selling due to health reasons, and simply not getting to enjoy the truck..time for a new home. Comes with a set of extra wheels, plus 2 NOS sand tyres and a few used ones...Asking $14,500.00 CDN or best serious offer..I have a few more photos I can forward if requested..thanks for your consideration.
