Indeed, as far as I understand Ford Amsterdam assembled new trucks straight from their shipping crates. I reckon they came from stocks in the UK because there were still vast amounts of uncrated vehicles present at facilities like
Pearsons of Liverpool when the war ended. They must have used the unpacking & assembly instructions like the ones you shared on here (
F60S for example)
I think these 3-ton GS truck came in Single Unit Packs (SUP), although at least C60Ls also came in Multi Unit Packs (MUP):
